Southern Air Brings ‘Heat the Town’ Program to Shreveport
With the colder temperatures coming on, a lot of heaters are getting tested out this week across the Ark-La-Tex. Unfortunately, not all heating units will pass that test. And because a lot of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning) issues have costly solutions, a lot of folks in our neck of the woods could be left out in the cold both literally and figuratively. That's why the "Heat the City," program Southern Air Shreveport is so amazing! The heating, cooling and plumbing services provider has brought this blessing of program to Shreveport for the first time ever to help those who can not afford to fix their heater.
From now until December 21st, you can nominate someone who needs to have their unit fixed and operating properly lest they face the icy fingers of winter. According to their Facebook page, the company has vowed to help at least 20 residents at no charge. There are some stipulations - you can't nominate yourself, the nominee has to be the homeowner (no rentals), and the cap on the repair or service is $500.
If you know someone who could benefit from this awesome program, hurry and nominate them right away by clicking here!
