With an emphasis on local beers becoming all the rage, who's brew reigns supreme?

As with many things, when it comes to getting an ice cold pint, local is better. More and more we see breweries opening across the country serving up brews that anything but ordinary and generic. They are crafted into drinkable representations of the communities they were birthed into. They pair with local food and local good time.

It would seem a shame to pit these unique beverages against one another, but what's done is done.

Thrillist has crafted their list of "All 50 States, Ranked by Their Beer." They looked at quantity along with quality. Of course, quality weighed a bit more heavily in their decisions, but the website also favored those states whose history is drenched in the making of beer. That would be why Oregon was given the title of having the beer.

As for the Ark-La-Tex, Texas ranked highest at number 16. The Lone Star state was the only state of the bunch to make it in the top half of the list. Louisiana came in at number 31 and Arkansas landed at number 42.
