Sting’s 5 Best WCW and WWE Entrances [VIDEO]

At tonight's WWE Pay-Per-View 'Battleground' pro-wrestling icon Sting is rumored to be making an appearance. This is big news in the wrestling world.

WWE's ratings have been slipping over the last few months, and viewers are rejecting the current plot lines. So the company is looking to get a solid reaction to create a quick turnaround. The 'safer' era of PG-13 stories is appearing to wear thin on most of the audience. The product has never come close to the viewership enjoyed in the late 90s during the 'attitude era' where the program dealt with more serious stories and adult content.

Whenever the rating have dipped, the company has turned back to what's left of that era, bringing back stars like Chris Jericho, The Rock, or occasional appearances from Stone Cold Steve Austin. Once a year the company gets a boost from The Undertaker (he's supposed to be coming back either tonight or tomorrow during Monday Night Raw) and it looks like they're hoping to capitalize the same way with Sting, but maybe a little more often.
