So, I narrowed it down to just under 100 pics from what I was able to take from 99X Fest. Here are the best of the bunch of pics that I was able to get.
Tristan is a normal 12 year old kid who loves playing guitar and listening to 99X. But something you may not know is that he has an 8-10 inch scar across his abdomen, has multiple visits to the hospital a year, is constantly on pain and experimental medication ($400-$600 a month of which insurance doesn't cover) and is scheduled to go back in surgery soon.
99X Fest was KILLER! Who knew that this town could rock that hard on a freakin' Thursday night?! This was how the show began for some of you...backstage hanging out with Godsmack, Staind, and Halestorm.
Godsmack, Staind and Halestorm give you a peek behind (and in front of) the curtain with a new video diary documenting the kickoff of the Mass Chaos tour.
Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale is no stranger to providing guest vocals in the rock world having collaborated with both Shinedown and Black Stone Cherry in the past. She most recently lent her voice to Adrenaline Mob’s latest disc ‘Omerta’ for a cover of Duran Duran’s ‘Come Undone,’ and now, it’s rumored that she may get to add the new All That Remains disc to her resume.
Here at 99X, we have a long history with Godsmack - from playing songs from their indy CD 'All Wound Up' before most of the country had heard of them, to their headlining gig at 99X Fest 2012 at CenturyLink Center on April 19th.
99X Fest is only a week away! Hopefully you already have your tickets...but maybe you just put a new tranny in the '64 Rambler and you're busted. We've got you covered with 8 more chances to score FREE tickets to see Godsmack, Staind, Halestorm, and Man Made Machine at CenturyLink Center next Thursday (4/19).
When Loudwire spoke to Godsmack’s Sully Erna late last month, he was not willing to divulge any of the cover songs the band were planning to include on their upcoming ‘Live & Inspired’ disc, but yesterday (April 7) the first song was announced.
I've never watched Glee, but I get the concept of the show. I always just assumed that the songs used on the show were of the "pop" crap variety. Then I find out that Halestorm gives the show the rights to cover a new song. Sure it's no Lzzy Hale on vocals, but I think it is great exposure for the band.
