A flyover near Downtown Baton Rouge had many looking up to the sky Tuesday, and even had some asking what may have been happening.

In case you are on the fence about going to see these multimillion dollar machines rip the sky into pieces, let me entice you.

One of my favorite events of the year is back this year in Shreveport-Bossier on May 18-19,  "Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air and Space Show."

Federal budget cuts are beginning to be felt in several areas. The air show at Barksdale Air Force Base might be one of the casualties -- or at least the plan to bring the Navy Blue Angels to town could be in jeopardy.
