I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook. On one hand, I absolutely loathe seeing people post the most utterly ridiculous, stupid things known to man. I saw on Buzzfeed "40 Names of Bands Before They Were Famous." Some of them I was familiar with, like Pearl Jam was originally Mookie Blaylock in honor of their favorite New Jersey Nets player.
After hearing his name for...well, YEARS!...I finally got a chance to get East Texan Wes Jeans on the Homegrown show back in late March. That was just ahead of his show at the Riverside Warehouse with The Kul (Johnny and Dane from that band also made the trip to be on Homegrown that weekend)...
