As you travel past downtown Shreveport on I-20 and look to the buildings, you'll notice the gigantic painting on two sides of the AT&T building. Most Shreveport residents might think it just a cool piece of art or something to spruce up the old brick facade, but believe it or not, there is much more to the 14-story mural than you might expect.
Last week in Downtown Shreveport, a train jumped the tracks and rolled over. Even though the title seems frightening, it really wasn't that drastic. Still a sight to see, and cause a lot of headaches in the area. BUT, how serious could it have been?
Two men are recovering from gunshot wounds and three others face numerous charges in connection with a shooting in downtown Shreveport early this morning.
If you don't have any plans for the Big Game on Sunday, well never fear, we have you covered! Underneath the Red River Bridge Sunday, the fine folks from SPAR have organized the BIGGEST Superb Owl Party in the Ark-La-Tex complete with a 40 foot screen, seating for everyone, and permission from the police to drink in public! Gotta love that!
