The smell of freshly boiled crawfish will permeate all of downtown when The 33rd Annual Mudbug Madness Festival - Presented by Centerpoint Energy - opens Thursday, May 26.

Shreveport is now one of Louisiana’s largest and most popular Cajun festivals, featuring renown Cajun, Zydeco, Blues and Jazz artists, mouth-watering Cajun cuisine, raucous contests, and fun for all ages.

Today was the Mudbug Madness 28th Celebrity Crawfish Eating Contest at Festival Plaza in Down Town Shreveport.  I showed up to win, but sadly I didn't bring the title home to 99X. Congrats to Ed Walsh of the KTBS Channel 3 Morning News on winning...
