If you are a fan of the local rock scene, you have no doubt heard of Trepid. Their latest album, "In Henry We Trust," is a raucous roller coaster that delivers exactly what you'd expect, and the first single, "Rust," now has a brand new video!

Congrats to the Trepid gang, who reinvented themselves with a new singer and drummer and came out on top in the latest Homegrown Picks of the Week poll.

It's a Louisiana showdown! We're keeping it very local this week with two bands that have never before been part of the Homegrown voting and one that knows Homegrown Picks very well (now with a new singer and new recordings). Vote for your favorite once a day, and then listen for the winner to pop up in the rotation next week on the coolest rock station around, 99x!

No, that's not a new band name...that's what tonight's show is all about...complete and utter chaos!  Because we had so much fun on last weekend's show, I asked Trepid to come in to guest host tonight...and it really has ended up being the "Trepid interviews the Moulin Dudes" show...

Trepid was one of the first bands I met when I started doing the Homegrown show. Since then, I've probably had the group in the studio more than any other band I've interviewed. The t-shirt I'm wearing today is one of two that I own. Why did I choose this one...

Have you gotten a Facebook friend request from Henry Gote...but you're not sure who he is? HE is actually...a GOAT! He's the mascot for Bossier City band Trepid, and owned by one of the band members. Rumor has it the band gives free goat rides at all their shows.
