Reports out of Dallas are that the Cowboys have decided to part ways with Offensive Coordinator Scott Linehan.

Linehan has been in Dallas since 2014, when he came on as the Cowboys play caller, and eventually took over as the "passing game coordinator" under Offensive Coordinator Bill Callahan. He officially took the full role of Offensive Coordinator in 2015, making him the only Offensive Coordinator that Dak Prescott or Ezekiel Elliot have played under in the NFL.

Prior to coming to Dallas, Linehan had stints in Detroit, Miami, Minnesota, and a Head Coaching stint with the St. Louis Rams.

Prior to becoming a coach, Linehan played quarterback at the University of Idaho, where he threw for over 7,000 yards in his career. He was not selected in the 1987 NFL Draft, but signed a rookie deal with the Dallas Cowboys. A shoulder injury in training camp ended his career during his rookie season.
