The celebration continues in Baton Rouge.

This purple piece of confetti got a lot of attention over the weekend at LSU. This piece of confetti fell out of the helmet of LSU's Derek Stingley as the Tigers took to practice fields for the first time since winning the National Championship in New Orleans.

So what's the importance of the piece of paper, well it was part of the celebration ceremony in Superdome when LSU defeated Clemson for the National Championship.

Apparently, the purple piece of confetti got stuck in Stingley's helmet after the National Championship game and it was "let loose" when he returned for Spring practice.

I don't know if anyone scooped it up, but I bet some LSU fan would pay decent money for this piece of LSU history.

LSU opens their 2020 season on September 5th in Tiger Stadium.
