This Louisiana Steakhouse is One of the Best, but it’s in the Middle of Nowhere
They say this steakhouse is one of the best you'll ever find.... If you can find it.
Anyone that knows me knows I love a good steak. Personally, the best steak I've ever tried was at Mr. John's Steakhouse in New Orleans. That steak was delightful, and I find myself having sudden urges to make that six hour drive on a random weekend just to taste it one more time.
Here locally, you simply can't beat the deliciousness of 2 Johns. Quite frankly, I don't know if I've ever ate a steak I didn't love.
You can imagine my surprise when I first heard about Vidrine’s Steakhouse. I felt like I did years ago when someone told me there was a Nicky's Mexican Restaurant under the bridge in downtown Shreveport. I was in disbelief, but had to stop what I was doing to try it.
That's where I'm at now with Vidrine's Steakhouse. This world-renowned steak joint is located essentially in the middle of no where, in Carencro just off I-49. According to my research, this place not only pumps out delicious steaks, but also burgers and seafood.
