Time to Change Clocks Again as Daylight Saving Time Begins This Sunday
It's hard to believe that we are still doing this after all these years. Time once again to change the clocks. And this is the dreaded "Spring Forward" time change where we essentially "lose" an hour.
In spite of growing popularity of the idea of abandoning the twice annual chore of re-setting the clocks on the microwave and the oven, here we go again!
Daylight Saving Time officially begins this Sunday, March 14 at 2:00 am. Well, actually there isn't a 2:00 am. We skip straight from 1:59 to 3:00, but you know the drill.
We SPRING forward, so Saturday night, before bed, set your clock AHEAD by one hour and you'll be on time. Course, it means we "lose" an hour of sleep. Or if you work first shift, you actually work an hour less. I often wondered about people who work that night each year. Do you only get paid for seven hours of work or do they pay you for eight?
I guess the good news is that we'll have an extra hour of daylight each evening to get all the grass mowed. Doesn't that make it all better?
