While the Golden Globes isn't always an awards show that is at the top of our "must watch" list, this year we had at least three reasons to be interested: Trent Reznor, Lana Del Rey and Lorde. But after tuning in tonight (Jan. 11) for the 2015 edition of the Globes, we were disappointed that none of them went home with a trophy.

Reznor -- along with producing partner Atticus Ross -- received a nomination for 'Best Original Score -- Motion Picture' thanks to his work on David Fincher's thriller, 'Gone Girl.' This marked the duo's third Golden Globe nomination; their first nod came in 2011 for 'The Social Network' and No. 2 came in 2012 for 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' (they won in 2011).

Jóhann Jóhannsson won this year's Globe for his score of 'The Theory of Everything.'

Del Rey and Lorde were competing against each other in their category, 'Best Original Song -- Motion Picture.' Del Rey's nomination came courtesy of her contribution to the title track of Tim Burton's latest effort, 'Big Eyes,' while Lorde was recognized for 'Yellow Flicker Beat' from 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part I' (she also curated the movie's soundtrack).

So who won 'Best Song' this year? John Legend and Common picked up the award for 'Glory,' which is featured in the critically-acclaimed 'Selma.'
