Back in the day, one of the staples every holiday season was Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the CenturyTel Center in Bossier City. It was like clock work. Temps would start to cool off, we'd get the announcement, then we'd go rock out to TSO.

But then, just one year out of the blue, TSO didn't come to town. And it was alright...we'll just catch them next year. Fast forward a bit and TSO hasn't been here since 2012! Can you believe that? We haven't had a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert in Shreveport-Bossier for 12 years!

And, I don't know about you, but I think it's time for us to change that. We've talked about it on the air and that didn't work. We yelled at clouds, that didn't work. So, this year, we're taking a new approach. We've created an online petition.

The internet is a lot of things - a place to get news, a place to complain about things that annoy us, a place to shop...but it also happens to be a place where people can make their voices heard. And that's what we're hoping for here. We're hoping that we make enough noise to get the powers that be's attention and bring TSO back to town. Because 12 years is WAY too long for us to not have a Trans-Siberian Orchestra show during the holiday season.

Will this work? We have no idea. But we've tried everything else. Maybe just maybe, with your help, we can make this happen. And even if it doesn't happen this year, maybe it'll catch someone's attention and get us on the calendar for next year. There's only one way to find and that's to true.

So, fill out the petition below. Let's make some noise. And let's get TSO back to town!

CenturyTel Arena, CenturyLink Arena, whatever it was called, it hosted a lot of big musical acts. Here are some of the biggest artists who have brought their talents to that building more than once
