Twisted Root in Bossier City Closed for Good
Unfortunately, one of the most delicious places to dine in Bossier City has closed its doors for good. Twisted Root, on Airline Drive in Bossier City, has turned off the lights and shut its doors. If you have a hankerin' for the delicious burgers the restaurant is known for, you'll have to drive across the river. The nearest location is now the Shreveport store on Line Avenue.
The restaurant, known for the extreme variety of (exotic even) meat patties available for its burgers, opened in July of 2016. In 2017, Twisted Root's Bossier location was named the "Small Business of the Year" by the Bossier Chamber of Commerce; unfortunately, the doors closed on Monday. The owners left this message on the restaurant's Facebook page:
Twisted Root Bossier City is permanently closed. THANK YOU to all our customers for patronizing this location since our opening in July 2016. Please visit our location in Shreveport at 8690 Line Avenue.
If you are still craving venison, Wagyu beef, elk, rabbit, buffalo, ostrich, or just regular ol' beef and the craft beer that goes with it - owner Grant Nuckolls says that he would love to see you at the Shreveport location.
