
Two Mississippi Men Accused of Gluing Winning Numbers Onto Lotto Ticket
The state of Mississippi has only had the lottery in their fine state since December 1 and is already having to deal with troublemakers.
Authorities in Mississippi say two men attempted to scam the state lottery commission by submitting a losing ticket that had the winning numbers glued to it.
Y'all, they glued numbers to a lottery ticket and thought that would get them paid!
Odis Latham, 47, and Russell Sparks, 48, were arrested on Monday and charged with uttering counterfeit instrument over $1,000.
Officers were told by the state lottery commission that the suspects presented them an altered $100,000 ticket that appeared to have the winning numbers glued to it.
The two men, both from Columbus, were set to appear in court yesterday.
