Two Shootings in Shreveport Lead to Three Injuries
Early Monday morning (7/26/21) 2 females arrived at Willis Knighton North Hospital with gunshot injuries. Both arrived at the ER via private vehicle and were suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the women had a bullet graze her head. The second woman was suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower body. After investigations, police learned that the shooting took place in the Hollywood Heights area, and had a possible suspect in custody.
The second shooting of the day took place on Cade Street near Watts Road. One person was injured in the gunfire. The call came in at 3:33p.m. and Shreveport Police were dispatched to the location. The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Police believe that road rage is the cause of the shooting. No suspect has been detained at this time.
