While most people celebrate Christmas by watching classic movies like 'It's a Wonderful Life', 'Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer', 'Frosty the Snowman' and stuff like that, I prefer more of the non-traditional Christmas movies. Stuff like Die Hard, Bad Santa and Edward Scissorhands.

That's why I am super excited that the Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport is playing one of my go-to Christmas classics this week - Batman Returns. This is Tim Burton's second film involving the Dark Knight and features classic performances from Danny DeVito as the Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. Plus, it all is center around a creep, freaky, over the top Christmas Celebration in Gotham. It's pretty awesome.

And we get to see Batman Returns in all of its glory on the big screen, which is the perfect gift for any geek/nerd. The film will be shown Thursday December 21st at the Robinson. You can find more info on the event here.
