I honestly don't know what I would do if something like this happened right in front of me. The fight at the Cortana Place Walmart in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, June 19th, 2022, at around 10 pm. The altercation prompted East Baton Rouge Parish Deputies to get involved. As you can see in the video below, courtesy of Alicia Robins-Jones, mayhem ensued.

WBRZ.com in Baton Rouge reports that two people were arrested after the melee for battery of a police officer, interference with a police investigation, and disturbing the peace. The two arrested were seen striking law enforcement and are 20-year-old Kaley Carter and an unidentified 17-year-old. Three more individuals on site were issued a summons for disturbing the peace. The sheriff's office reports that one of the deputies received a bump on his head during the brawl.

In the video, you can see law enforcement use what looks like a taser while you can hear someone in the background yelling for their companions to 'get in the car' amidst screams. I don't know about you, but I don't blame them for wanting to get away. In today's day and age, there's rarely a fight without shots fired.

We pray for an end to the violence, not just in Louisiana, but for our country. We're simply too quick to resort to physical violence instead of working our problems out like adults. When will enough, truly be enough?
