Shreveport Farmers' Market
The Shreveport Farmers' Market runs through August 28, 2021, Saturdays from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm in Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport. Parking and admission are both free and most vendors accept coupons from the Louisiana Farmers' Market Senior Nutrition Program and the WIC Program, as well as SNAP.

Shark Week
It's Shark Week on Discovery and our Shreveport Aquarium is celebrating with ongoing family-friendly activities, feedings, games, and more! You can also win prizes and get your picture made in their shark photo booth.

South Bossier Drive-in Movies
Check out South Bossier Drive-in Movies Friday and Saturday, July 16th and 17th, at the old Reeves Marine. It's just $25 per car per movie and when you pay your entry, you'll get a free bag of popcorn to enjoy. Drinks and concessions are even available on-site and credit/debit cards are accepted.
Gates will open at 7 pm with showtime at 8 pm both nights. However, on Friday, it's going to get wild with Pixar and Disney's 'Cars!' Then on Saturday, make plans to come back to watch Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman in 'Days of Thunder!'

Shop Till You Drop
Head to the Bossier Civic Center this Friday from 3 - 7 pm and Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm to shop for unique gifts, arts, crafts, home goods, etc... Admission is $4 and children 10 and under are free. This weekend they'll play host to a special guest, the one and only Minnie Mouse who will be appearing Saturday at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm!

Matilda the Musical
Matilda the Musical is being played at the Marjorie Lyons Playhouse in Shreveport Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets are $25 and there are discounted tickets for seniors ($22) and students ($20).
