Weezer have decided to go directly to their fans for some advice on their next move, asking them to help choose the band's next single. Avoiding subtlety, the band gets right to the point of their mission asking, "How much do you think each of these three songs would help Weezer's career if released as the next single?"

The band then supply a link for fans to listen to the three candidates and are prompted to rate on a scale of one to five which track would be the "least helpful single for Weezer," and which would be the "most helpful single for Weezer." The songs in question -- 'Ain't Got Nobody,' 'Da Vinci' and 'Go Away' -- all come from the band's latest record, 'Everything Will Be Alright In the End.'

After 20 years in the business, they have obviously seen things change greatly and perhaps they see this as simply cutting out the middle man. If you want to help Weezer choose their next single, take the survey here.
