Weird Dreams and Struggling to Sleep Common During Pandemic
King5.news Online searches about odd dreams and sleep deprivation have shot up during our Shelter in Place Order. Google searches have skyrocketed to over 200% in the last month. Thanks a lot, Coronavirus.
Dr. Victoria Sharma with Sharp Grossmont Hospital told King 5 that we shouldn't lose sleep over having weird dreams. She is a board-certified sleep medicine physician. Sharma said people's sleep habits are all over the place right now, and a lot of it has to do with our changing schedules. She added, “When everything around us is so different now, I think our minds just react by creating some weird dreams as a way to process all this strangeness that happens during the day,".
