What Do Shreveport/Bossier People Say They Miss Most About Childhood?
Someone just conducted a new survey regarding our memories of childhood and they discovered that over half of all people would love to relive their childhood. Oh, tell me more Captain Obvious.
Sure we'd like to relive it! Who wouldn't want to go back to the days when the thing that stressed you out the most was your Mom's meatloaf, and having to eat those nasty brussels sprouts?
However, it wasn't the entire childhood they wanted to repeat, especially those days of puberty, algebra and acne. It was specifically the time period from the ages 7 to 10, when they consider everything was essentially "magical."
Some of the things people say they miss most were:
- Not having to worry abut money
- Summer breaks from school
- Christmas
- Always having energy
- Not paying any bills
- Not having to work
- Not having aches and pains
- Being excited about birthdays
All of these same things were highlights for those of us who grew up in Shreveport/Bossier, but there were some specific things here that might not mean much to others, but to us, we'd go back in a New York second for these things.
Just take a look and go back in time with me to see if you agree.
