Winter Weather Arrives – Some Schools Are Closed Thursday
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect late through Thursday for parts of the ArkLaTex. This warning includes much of East Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas. This warning includes Magnolia, Hope, Prescott and DeQueen Arkansas. Longview and Tyler are also included. Significant ice accumulations are possible in this region.
Other parts of the area are under a Winter Weather Advisory through Thursday.

The freezing rain began Wednesday night in Southeast Oklahoma. Most other areas are getting rain.
