Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted in reference to a report of a vandalism in the 2000 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop on March 14th, 2023, around 12:45 a.m. . The caller told dispatchers that a woman was breaking out the windows of his vehicle.

On arrival, officers contacted Macey Lacaze (7-18-1988) and discovered that she was the ex-girlfriend of the 911 caller. Further investigation by Shreveport Police Patrol officers discovered multiple items belonging to the victim had been broken and Lacaze was taken into custody.

After responding officers conducted their investigation Lacaze was arrested for one count of Home Invasion, two counts of property damage, one count of domestic abuse battery, and one count of simple battery.
