OK, how many times have you read that "Rock is dead"? I personally am sick to death of those headlines. Thank God for Revolver magazine. It seems that Revolver magazine can finally put an end to that headline...and this isn't a look at all the dead guys that these know-it-all writers have been touting as the only people that ever mattered in the genre.

Revolver just put out their 100th issue and inside are the Top 100 Living Rock Star. On the cover alone, they tout 21 of the Top 100:
- GUNS N' ROSES' Axl Rose
- Ozzy Osbourne
- METALLICA's James Hetfield
- KISS' Gene Simmons
- KORN's Jonathan Davis
- Marilyn Manson
- Slash (notice he isn't referred to as a member of GNR?)
- MÖTLEY CRÜE and SIXX: A.M.'s Nikki Sixx
- SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR's Corey Taylor
- MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister
- FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl
- Alice Cooper
- Rob Zombie
- SLAYER's Kerry King
- BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's Zakk Wylde
- LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe
- AVENGED SEVENFOLD's M. Shadows
- JANE'S ADDICTION's Dave Navarro
- Sebastian Bach
- BLACK VEIL BRIDES' Andy Biersack
- FALLING IN REVERSE's Ronnie Radke

In that Top 100, when you read, on they give nods to Bret Michaels, Chris Cornell and Dave Navarro to name a few more.

Thank you Revolver for proving that Rock is still alive and kicking all forms of ass!
