$1,000,000 Powerball Winner Sold In Louisiana

Who spent their weekend waking up one million dollars richer? According to the Louisiana Lottery, the holder of a Powerball ticket purchased in the state could certainly lay claim to that fact. That's right a Powerball ticket that matched all the white ball numbers for Saturday night's drawing could be in your pocket or wallet this morning.

Let's check those numbers, shall we? The numbers were drawn for the September 7, 2019 drawing were:

A ticket sold in New Orleans at Claiborne Mini Mart, 3338 S.Claiborne Ave, Unit B matched all five of the numbers needed to win. The ticket did not match the Powerball so that's why the winner is only valued at $1,000,000.

There were no tickets sold during Saturday's drawing that matched all the numbers and the Powerball so the jackpot for the multi-state lottery game will continue to grow ahead of next Wednesday's drawing.
