$35 Million Spine Center Headed for Bossier’s East Bank District

The Shreveport / Bossier City area has got to be one of the most medically-minded places in the country.  We've got as many hospitals and clinics as we do liquor stores and churches - and we're still getting more!  Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining - I love it!  I hope I don't get injured or sick, but if I do - I'm not worried about access to quality medical care.

Soon, those with spine issues will have a brand new headquarters for healing.  According to KTBS and Becker Spine, the $35 million Spine Center of Excellence is set to break ground on a new facility this year.  Some reports put the ceremonial kickoff to construction as soon as next week!

The center will reportedly be bristling with cutting edge imaging technology, eliminating the need to go to several places before doctors there can asses your back problems.  The ASC (their imaging center) will have its own MRI, CT, X-ray and other tech to allow the doctors and specialists there precisely determine what the issue is.

This base for back relief will be located on a 13.7-acre lot at the corner of Coleman Street and Bearkat Drive in Bossier City's  East Bank District.
