5 Crazy Louisiana Laws You May Have Broken
Every state has them and Louisiana is no exception. You're probably guilty of violating some of them. You could even have to pay a fine or go to jail if you're caught. We're talking about dumb laws. Here are just 5 of them:
If you filch $500 or more of crawfish from your neighbor's farm, you could get 10 years in prison, possibly at hard labor, a $2000 fine, or both.
If you take your neighbor's alligator, its skin, or any part of the alligator without his consent, you can get up to 10 years in prison, a $3000 fine, or both.
Violation of this statue could get you a fine of $500, six months in prison, or both.
Even if you don't know this law, and didn't mean to harm anyone, peeing in the drink could land you in the clink for 5 years, or get you a $500 fine, or both.
This one won't land you in jail, but it could land you on your butt when you get ejected from the arena.
