Every state has them and Louisiana is no exception. You're probably guilty of violating some of them. You could even have to pay a fine or go to jail if you're caught. We're talking about dumb laws. Here are just 5 of them:

There is a specific punishment for stealing crawfish from a crawfish farm.
If you filch $500 or more of crawfish from your neighbor's farm, you could get 10 years in prison, possibly at hard labor, a $2000 fine, or both.

If you take your neighbor's alligator, its skin, or any part of the alligator without his consent, you can get up to 10 years in prison, a $3000 fine, or both.
