Agents Seize $100,000 in Drugs and Cash in Shreveport Raid
In a press release from Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator, we get word that the Caddo Sheriff's Office joined with deputies and officers from Bossier Parish, Desoto Parish, Shreveport Police, the Louisiana State Police and the DEA for an investigation that has brought on the arrest of Ryan Pugh, 41, for possession with intent to distribute marijuana/THC.
After much research, agents with the DEA Task Force, the Caddo Sheriff's Office and Louisiana State Police searched a garage in the 7300 block of Henderson Street just before 1:00 pm on Monday and seized more than 150 kilos of marijuana and THC edibles.
At that time, Pugh was detained by agents as they searched a large crate in the bed of Pugh’s truck and found 121 kilograms (267 pounds) of THC edible candies, 35 kilos (78 pounds) of marijuana, 144 grams of THC oil, and seven THC vape pens.
Agents also seized $6,260 in cash from Pugh. The total value of the seizure was approximately $100,000.
Pugh was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
