Is there any other food that screams "Southern" as loud as fried chicken?  The answer is no.

Here's the real question: Who fries up that yard-bird better than anyone else?  Before you respond, just know there are a lot of right answers in the Shreveport-Bossier City area.  It's not hard to find tasty fried chicken in our town, but maybe you didn't know just how many choices there really are.

That's where I come in.  My taste buds and stomach have done some exhaustive and delicious research that I will never tell my cardiologist about.  During my culinary journey, I have uncovered 13 fan-favorite fried-chicken joints that dot our metropolitan area.  Each one has their own distinctive poultry practice and therefore a unique taste.
