Dorothy may be the cutest little black and tan doxie mix you've ever seen and she's available for adoption now at Pet Savers in Shreveport! Just be warned, when you have a Dachshund/Bassett Hound mix, it's a recipe for lots of sass and tons of fun!

This sweet little girl has been in and out of Pet Savers for one reason or another, but that just means she's still on the hunt for her perfect match! Meet Dorothy today at Pet Savers Shreveport. Her adoption fee is $125 and she's already up to date on her vaccinations. Just remember, adopting a dog is a big commitment. Make sure you're ready to take care of your new friend FOR LIFE before making the leap to pet ownership.

Here's what the Pet Savers website has to say about Dorothy:

I am a sweet little 25-pound Dachshund/Bassett Hound mix, that just can't seem to find the perfect home for me. I have been returned a few times for one reason or another, but Pet Savers knows there is a home out there willing to give me a happy life! I am about 8 years old and love to go wherever my people go. I enjoy walks, car rides, and snuggles. I need to be the only dog in the home. I would also do best in a home either without kids or with considerate kids that know when I would like to have my space. I am housetrained, and am ready to find my new fur-ever home!
