With mounting health concerns in our area, many of Shreveport's yearly events have had to shut-down. Unfortunately it seems the Delta Variant has cost us another fantastic Shreveport staple.

The Centenary Muses, a volunteer group dedicated to funding projects and programs for Centenary students, have announced that the 34th Centenary Book Bazaar scheduled for September 10 and 11 will be canceled due to ongoing public health concerns.

The Bazaar has raised more than $1 million for the College, and the Muses have funded projects that touch all aspects of student life, from academics and athletics to student government and the performing arts.

The Muses hope to reschedule the Book Bazaar for a date in spring 2022.
