The supergroup Chickenfoot are back on the release schedule, albeit with a disc consisting of mostly familiar material. The band will issue Best + Live on March 10, but are sounding the trumpets for the inclusion of a brand new track called "Divine Termination," which will be the band's first new tune in five years.

The Best + Live set featured over 90 minutes of live music released for the first time on CD. Frontman Sammy Hagar says, "Listening to this collection of songs from the ‘Foot brings back memories of some of the most fun I've ever had in a band. The chemistry between Chad, Joe, Mike and me is very special. It's almost like visual music -- you can see us having fun when you listen to these songs." In addition to Hagar, Chickenfoot consists of former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitar great Joe Satriani and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

Back in May of 2016, Chickenfoot reunited for two shows at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe, Nev., and played their first set together in more than six years. During the show, they debuted "Divine Termination," a track that Joe Satriani describes as "bone crunching, hell raising rock, dripping with attitude and vibe. Just the way Chickenfoot likes it!"

The "live" disc included nearly song off of Chickenfoot's debut album, plus performances of Sammy Hagar's Montrose classic "Bad Motor Scooter," The Who's "My Generation" and Satriani's interpretation of "The Star Spangled Banner."
