Deadbeat Moms in Northwest Louisiana: Moms Who Owe Over $50 Grand

Collecting child support is a problem for many parents across Louisiana. The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services says only about half the child support that is owed by parents in Louisiana is collected every month.

We took a little heat for putting up deadbeat dads in June. But let me explain why no moms were on that list. We did a search for parents who owed more than $100,000. No moms showed up on that list. But this time we checked for moms who owe more than $50,000 and we did find some women on the list. We found several in Shreveport and Bossier City.
