ESPN to Feature Shreveport Restaurant in New Show
ESPN is the monster of all sports programming. What started as a program to broadcast sports across the state of Connecticut in 1978 turned out to be an international sports phenomenon that has spawned multiple sub-networks that dominate the sports-viewing world.
This year, the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network will feature the food fans in the south love to munch. If you've ever eaten there, it's easy to understand why ESPN picked Herby K's in Shreveport as part of this project. The network was in town yesterday to shoot video for the show, no doubt lured in by the po'boys. The segment, which is unnamed at this point, will travel to the most popular restaurants with sports fans in the SEC.
According to KTBS, not only do the producers not have a name for the segment as of yet - at this point, they aren't even mentioning when it will air.
