The FAA has confirmed a flight ban on certain recalled 15-inch Apple Macbook Pro laptops due to fire risk.
Ksla.com reports that in June, Apple issued a recall for some models of their 15-inch Macbook Pros due to a particular type of lithium battery that can possibly overheat and catch fire.
As a result, the FAA has just announced a ban on the 15-inch Macbook Pros sold between Sept. 2015 and Feb. 2017.
The batteries run the risk of "overheating, electric shock, thermal burns, and even fire" according to ksla.com.
