Florida Man Calls 911 To Taunt The Sheriff After Torching A Police Car
This right here? This is ballsy. It's also very Florida.
Florida resident Frederick Davis, who apparently has a grudge against Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood, set fire to a police car and then called 911 twice to taunt the new sheriff. Seems like a pretty foolproof plan, right? Eh, not so much. Unfortunately for Davis, he left his blood at the scene, and he has a record, so they caught him easily.
During his 911 calls, Davis referred to the torched police car as a "welcoming mat" for the new sheriff. You can hear both of the slightly under-censored clips below.
