Last night, the majority of teams of opened up the 2019-2020 NFL season. In fact, their were 11 games in total. And even though it is just pre-season ball, it was a special night for one Shreveport guy.

Greedy Williams saw his first NFL action last night. And, to be honest, it was sort of an up and down game for him...he did have some very special moments. The former Calvary star was criticized by NFL scouts for his tackling ability. Well, on his first drive of the game, he got physical and stopped Redskins Running Back Semaje Perine for a loss.

Then, as the first half was winding down, Williams was able to pick off rookie quarterback Dewayne Haskins to record his first NFL interception. Now, Williams did blow a coverage early in the game that allowed Case Keenum to toss an easy touchdown pass. But, overall, Williams had a night to remember.

Head coach Freddie Kitchens said that Williams wouldn't be handed a starting job on the team, he'd have to earn it. And, I'd say Greedy is well on his way to earning a featured spot in the Browns secondary.
