Happy Birthday to the Hot Rod, Rowdy Roddy Piper

Every year when April 17th rolls around, I just can't help but think about the legendary 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper. Today would have been the Hot Rod's 63rd birthday. For those not familiar with Piper's body of work think he's just another wrestler. But those that have seen him in the ring, in movies, listened to his podcast know he is so much more than that. He was quite possibly one of the greatest entertainers on the planet. Hell, without a Roddy Piper, there wouldn't be a Puff.

Piper was a one of a kind talent. Dude could literally do anything with a microphone in his hand. He could make you love him, hate him, laugh or cry. Dude could do it all. If you think he was just some wrestler, go watch him in 'They Live' or 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'.
