Turkey hunters all over Northwest Louisiana are holding their breath for just a couple more weeks as Turkey Season begins April 2nd in Louisiana.

Along with that Hooks, Horns, N Spurs Outdoors will hold its first ever Turkey Hunt Competition. They are using this competition as a fundraiser for one of the noblest of causes. They'll use the money generated through entry fees to send the Veteran, Law Enforcement Officer, or First Responder in your life on a paid hunting or fishing trip!

This season, Hooks, Horns, N Spurs Turkey Hunt Competition is looking for the biggest gobbler killed. All you need to do is join Hooks, Horns, N Spurs Outdoor Group on Facebook, submit a 25 dollar entry fee and submit four photos of the bird along with the NWTF score.

You can hunt wherever you want and any subspecies of turkey will count.
Photos must include:
1. Picture of you with the bird.
2. Picture of the bird on scale being weighed.
3. Picture of the bird with a measuring device showing length of spurs.
4. Picture of the bird with a measuring device showing length of beard(s).
5. Total NWTF score for the bird.

Payments can be submitted via Venmo or PayPal. The competition will run through June 1st, 2021.

The winner will receive a 45Qt RTIC cooler and a Hooks, Horns, n Spurs Outdoors Group shirt and hat.

Second place will receive a Hooks, Horns, n Spurs Outdoors Group shirt and hat.

Third place will receive a Hooks, Horns, n Spurs Outdoors Group shirt.

Registration for the competition is underway now and will conclude this coming Monday, March 22nd, so if you're interested, don't procrastinate and miss out.

All proceeds will go toward funding "Give Back" hunts for Vets/LEOs/First Responders.

About Hooks, Horns, N Spurs Outdoors: H2S Outdoors is a Veteran owned and operated group started right here in the Ark-la-tex that wants to give back to the other men and women who have served their country or community with their sacrifice and to get more people involved in hunting.

They seek to create an environment where hunters can learn and fellowship with other hunters because there is always more than one way to skin a cat.
