Two Arrested In Connection With December 18 Fatal Texarkana Crash
Texarkana Police have arrested two men in connection with a fatal crash that occurred back on December 18, 2023.
Arrested: Christopher Daniel, 25 years old.
Arrested: Robert Culpepper, 23 years old.
Both Robert Culpepper and Christopher Daniel were charged with Racing on the Highway Involving Death, then booked into the Bi-State Jail. Their bonds have been set at $1,000,000 each.
The crash happened on N. Stateline Ave at Hazel St. on the night of December 18, 2023. That's when Linda Reed, 66, died in the crash when her car was struck as she was attempting to cross North Stateline Avenue from East 9th Street to Hazel Street. The crash happened at about 7:20 PM.
Police say that the evidence shows that both Culpepper and Daniel were driving southbound on Stateline at an extremely high rate of speed.
