Four Phone Habits That Could Mean You Suffer From Anxiety
I think we're all using our phones far too much. But, could that indicate they we may have a mental health condition?
The majority of people use their phones for worry-free social media scrolling, calling friends and family, but some of us use our phones for a totally different reason.
Here are four phone habits that could be signs of anxiety:
1. Doomscrolling: That's when you look for upsetting news all the time, even though it never makes you feel better. This may indicate that you are anxious or it may possibly be the root of your nervousness.
2. Avoiding people by using your phone: Have you ever pretended to be on your phone in order to avoid having a conversation? It may indicate anxiety if you're spending more time on your phone than in person encounters.
3. The inability to put your phone down: Anxiety may be indicated if you find it difficult to put down your phone, especially when you don't need it. Like when you're working out, sleeping, or attending a business meeting.
4. Panic when your phone isn't working: If you experience extreme anxiety or panic when your phone breaks or loses WiFi, there may be an issue. If you're freaking out because you can't get on the Gram, that's a red sign.
