The performer who played the primary antagonist of the scariest movie according to science is coming to Shreveport. Researchers conduct an annual physical study, tracking viewer heart rates, to objectively determine the most frightening film ever produced...measuring precise physical reactions to various horror titles.

How better to prove what is actually scary than to see what is making someone's heart race? People can say something is scary, but to prove it is a whole new matter.

Ever since the researchers have started this project, the 2012 feature film 'Sinister' consistently ranks at the absolute top of these clinical studies. Test audiences experience the highest average resting heart rate spikes while watching this specific release, compared to tons of other horror movies...including what some people consider to be the 'greatest of all time'.

Literally every year since the research started, 'Sinister' has been the top dog. No matter what the new releases are, or how many times they put 'The Exorcist' up against it...Bughuul wins.

Nick King And The Legacy Of Bughuul

For horror fans in Louisiana, Arkansas, and East Texas, they're going to get to meet the demon behind all of the horror contained inside 'Sinister' this year in Shreveport. The annual pop culture celebrations, Geek'd Con, will be hosting the man behind the mask of this iconic supernatural baddie.

The physical embodiment of the dark entity in this film series is named Bughuul, an ancient demon creating havoc and stealing children. The cinematic character operates as an ancient Babylonian god (though the character is a completely fictional creation for the movie) that manipulates recorded film footage to consume the souls of young children. He is given the nickname "Mr. Boogie" in the film franchise.

Actor and experienced stunt performer Nick King brought this silent entity to life for millions. He provided the menacing physical performance for Bughuul in both the original 2012 film, and the 2015 sequel 'Sinister 2'.

You don't even have to be a massive horror movie fan to see how cool this opportunity is. Even casual fans know that getting a photo with the iconic antagonist of the scariest movie of all time is a pretty amazing opportunity. For local fans, getting this chance in your own backyard puts this in the 'once in a lifetime' territory.

Perhaps the best things about pro photo ops at Geek'd Con is the fact that you will get a physical copy of the photo minutes after its taken. So you will be able to take your copy of the picture over to Nick King's table, and have him sign the photo you just took together. Now THAT is a 'once in a lifetime' moment.
