Geek’d Con Sets 2024 Dates For Downtown Shreveport, Louisiana

One of the top pop culture events in Louisiana is set to return for 2024 in Downtown Shreveport. Geek'd Con is ready to bring the fun and excitement back to the 318 once more.

This comic-con-style event has been running at the Shreveport Convention Center since 2015. Meaning that this upcoming year would be would be the 10th anniversary of the show...except for the fact there wasn't a 2020 show. So even though this will mark 1 years, it will be show #9 in 2024.

Coming off from a massive 2023 event, 2024 is going to be a highly anticipated show.

Since its start, Geek'd Con has been one of the premiere comic con style events in the state of Louisiana. The event has generated millions of dollars in economic impact to the Shreveport and Bossier City area. While also bringing in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, Star Wars icons, Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame members, and horror movie legends.

Looking ahead to 2024, the show will be returning to the Shreveport Convention Center August 16th, 17th, and 18th. That's Friday through Sunday by the way.

The 2023 event was a blast, featuring guests like Kevin Smith (he did a 2-day appearance in Shreveport!), Jason Mewes, Brandon Routh, Sam Witwer, Kurt Angle, the cast of Steven Universe, and many more. The event was a huge hit with the community, and will hopefully serve as a building block for 2024!
