Spring in El Paso, Texas is about to get a whole lot brighter!

It’s still technically winter in El Paso (although these 80 degree temperatures make us feel like it’s already Spring!) But Spring will be here before we know it, and that means…. POPPIES!

El Paso, it’s time to dust off your picnic blankets and get ready for the most vibrant festival of the season—Poppies Fest 2025!

Family Friendly Event For All!

This event always brings out locals and visitors of all ages to enjoy the beautiful poppies El Paso’s beautiful mountains have to offer. Now, will there be as many beautiful poppies as there have been in the past? That question won’t be answered until we get closer to the event dates, but for now plan on celebrating Poppies Fest 2025 this March!

The El Paso Museum of Archaeology is thrilled to announce the 18th annual Poppies Fest, a month-long celebration of our stunning golden blooms, happening every Saturday in March from 10 AM to 3 PM.

This isn’t just about flowers—each weekend brings a new theme packed with performances, exhibitors, vendors, food trucks, workshops, and all-around good vibes.

Toxic Flowers to Keep Away From Your Pets

Though pretty, these flowers are prone to cause issues with dogs and cats, so if you're thinking about gifting one of these to your special someone, make sure you don't let the animals get to them!
