Keithville Woman Arrested for Shooting at Boyfriend

A Keithville woman was arrested early this morning for firing a gun at her boyfriend.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says 36-year-old Daisha Benjamin and her boyfriend got into an argument at their mobile home in the 1800 block of Pine Grove. As she was leaving, Benjamin pulled a gun from her car and fired in the direction of her boyfriend, who was standing in the doorway. A bullet shattered the glass storm door, but the boyfriend wasn't wounded.

Benjamin was arrested at her workplace on Mansfield Road after deputies worked through the night to locate her. She's been booked into Caddo Correctional Center for illegal use of a dangerous weapon.
