If you missed Shreveport native Kenny Wayne Shepherd's epic 25th anniversary of his breakout album Trouble Is show a few weeks ago, here's your chance to see it from the comfort of your own home!

If you weren't at this sold-out show at The Strand Saturday, February 12, 2022, I'm not trying to rub it in, but you really missed out. It truly was a homecoming for our hometown hero and blues legend Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The show featured special guests galore and tons of video footage and interviews with Kenny making it a truly intimate event. He even raised over $96,000 for Providence House and the Northwest Louisiana Family Justice Center by auctioning off three of his guitars during the event.

Okay, I'm feeling pretty old right now. I remember when Kenny released Trouble Is back in 1997. I had just gotten my start in radio the year before and it wasn't long before Blue on Black, the lead single from Trouble Is, was flooding the airwaves. Flash forward 25 YEARS and Shreveport's native son is in a whole new place in life. He's a husband, a father, and a musician known worldwide as one of the best in the blues game. Isn't it cool that he's one of ours? In celebration of the anniversary of the release of Trouble Is 25 years ago, Kenny Wayne is coming back to Shreveport with the rest of the band to play a benefit concert at the historic Strand Theatre Saturday, February 12th, 2022 and tickets are on sale NOW!

Kenny Wayne is dedicated to giving back to his hometown, the community that gave him his start.

Proceeds from the event will bless Providence House and the Northwest Louisiana Family Justice Center. So, what can you expect at the concert?
