Shreveport is place full of history and good eats. Sadly, a local spot that is full of both is about to close its doors. Yesterday, the Deli Casino Sandwich Shoppe announced that they will be closing their doors next month after serving the community for over 40 years.

The shop made the announcement on their Facebook page:

Please join Sam and Dayle for a Retirement and Closing Party
celebrating 40 years of making sandwiches, new and long-term friendships, and a lifetime of memories!

Deli Casino is closing its doors at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019!
